"The work of Cassière (…) is a perfect example of the media archeological approach where the focus lies on deconstructing and reconfiguring audiovisual systems questioning the parameters of both old and new with a critical sense of chronology. (…)

A new configuration of media is taking shape, one that confronts us with our viewing habits and the conventions we are mostly unaware of."

                                                                                (Edwin Carels, 2012)
